Facebook to Build Data Center in Iowa

Reuters reports that Facebook will build a data center near Des Moines, Iowa, which may reach $1.8 billion in capital expenditures. The initial facility will be a 476,000-square-foot building, based on the same energy-efficient architecture that Facebook designed for its other data centers, and will get 25% of its power from renewable sources.
